Performance

Acting as a team to get common goals accomplished.  This includes communications, monitoring results, management of people.  In order to achieve great performance, the team must be led.  This priority includes dashboards for monitoring results, feedback systems for monitoring the satisfaction of your employees, clients and shareholders, and all the non-financial metrics of the business.  It works even better if the team has a unifying purpose.

Performance Checklist

How would you rank each of the following statements about your organization on a scale of 0 to 10?

  1. We review our plans weekly to make sure we are on target.
  2. As a company, we have a strong track record of making internal improvements that have lasting impact.
  3. The metrics our company dashboards have made it easy to see where we are off target compared to plan.
  4. We regularly fix internal problems to keep our staffs' frustrations to a minimum.
  5. We avoid emergencies by communicating well across the company.
